Witness the successor Lamborghini Gallardo, whose life of 10 years has seen most of the production of a single model - with 14,022 cars built - the Italian exotic car manufacturer. Nicknamed Huracán LP 610-4, the new slots baby Lambo Aventador in to take on the Ferrari 458 Italia and Aston Martin DB9.

The Huracán takes its name from a Spanish bull, not a storm of epic wind and Sport University of Miami. Lamborghini says it will combine performance with driving pleasure, the brand will unveil the car in more than 130 private events worldwide as of January, followed by a public presentation at the International Motor Show in March 2014.

Outside
Similar to the headlights of the Aventador, the Huracán channeled LED that complement a kind of lightning bolt below the melting LED headlights. It would not be a good Lambo without massive air intakes, which engulf any semblance of front bumper. Long, low and wide, the Huracán draws a line nearly continuous cover the windshield. The roofline rushes past the cabin to an abrupt end just after the rear fender, but fewer mouths pockmark the side than the Aventador chiseled. It is a familiar profile Lamborghini faithful and that the Italian automaker withdrew.

AUTOCOM CDP Pro When Gallardo used an aluminum frame, the frame of the Huracán uses aluminum and carbon fiber. Total dry weight (no fluids or fuel, as opposed to empty weight) is 3128 pounds. It is only up to £ 19 with respect to all-wheel drive 560 horsepower Gallardo LP 560-4. It's 86 pounds heavier than both the rear-Gallardo LP 550-2 car and the Ferrari 458 Italia (all specifications in relation to dry matter). 458, as most competitors Huracán, uses rear-wheel drive.

Inside
Hood instrument stacked projections that house vents, the cabin emphasizes the gravity. It's futuristic, but the future is sterile and pragmatic - the kind of interior you expect in the Batmobile. Even the cabin of the Aventador looks warmer.

In Huracán, a 12.3-inch screen takes the place of traditional gauges, it can show all of a tachometer on the navigation screens and multimedia. The seats are Nappa leather and Alcantara simulated working length doors. Behind the wheel are massive shifters which extend almost to the top of the rim.

Under the hood
As its name suggests, the LP 610-4 Huracán 5.2-liter V-10 makes 610 hp, 50 hp compared to the Gallardo LP 560-4. Multiple injection points - direct and indirect, Lamborghini says - power and effectiveness of aid. Torque rises to 413 pounds-feet to 15 pounds-feet of V-10 Gallardo LP 560-4.

autocom cdp The Stop-Start technology allows fuel consumption, which is equivalent to 12.5 liters per 100 kilometers in combined cycle European consumer. This is an improvement compared to 13.7 liters from the current Gallardo LP 560-4 100 kilometers, which equates to 15 or 16 mpg in the EPA number of United States with the manual or automatic transmission, respectively.

There is no word shifter more. Power meets all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and Lamborghini said Huracán hits 62 mph in a blazing 3.2 seconds. This is much faster than the Gallardo LP 560-4 (3.7 seconds with automatic transmission) and it rips past the DB9 (4.6 seconds). Ferrari 458 Italia said the strikes 62 mph in less than 3.4 seconds, but does not provide a precise figure.

Drivers can spend Huracán between three driving modes - Strada, Sport and Corsa - which affect the response of the engine, the noise level, power distribution all-wheel drive and intervention electronic stability system. Variable-ratio steering and adaptive suspension are both optional, and driving patterns affect them too.

V-checker V301 It is not known whether Lamborghini will offer convertible (Spyder) versions of the rear-wheel drive or Huracán, but since both were for the Gallardo, it's a safe bet that we will see a Huracán Spyder at a given time.
